First steps

How do I create a new album?

Go to Galleries, create a new album and give it a name that is easy to recognize, such as the couple’s names and wedding date. Then upload the photos from the shoot and choose whether the album opens in collaboration mode (clients pick and comment) or presentation mode (delivering the final set). You can change the mode at any time in the album settings.

How do I upload photos?

Drag photos or a whole folder into the album, or click Upload to choose files from your computer. Wedify splits large files into parts and uploads them in parallel, so high-resolution photos go up reliably and a shaky connection doesn’t ruin the whole upload. Afterwards, Wedify creates previews automatically so clients can browse quickly on any device.

How do clients get to their album? Do they need an account?

Copy the album’s share link and send it to your client by email, messenger or any other channel. Clients don’t need to create an account or install an app; they simply open the link in their browser. If the album has a password, they enter it once to get in.

How do I choose what clients can do in an album?

Open the album settings and turn each feature on or off: color flags, comments, scribbles and client uploads. A proofing album, for example, usually has every tool on, while an album for relatives can have them all off so it is view-only. Changes apply immediately for everyone viewing the album.

How can I see the album the way my client will?

Click Preview in the album to open the shared page exactly as your client sees it, even if the album is private or password-protected. It is a good way to check the cover, layout and enabled tools before you send the link.

Trial & plans

How long can I use Wedify for free?

You get a free 14-day trial with every feature, and no credit card is required. During the trial you can create albums, send them to real clients and try the whole picking and delivery workflow.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial ends automatically after 14 days and nothing is charged, because no card is needed to sign up. To keep using Wedify, choose a paid plan that fits your studio’s storage needs.

How are paid plans billed?

Fees are paid in advance for each billing period, monthly or yearly. Plans renew automatically at the end of the period so your albums are never interrupted, unless you cancel renewal before the renewal date. Paying yearly costs less than paying monthly.

Can I cancel renewal?

Yes, you can cancel renewal at any time. Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you won’t be charged for the next one.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. An invoice is issued for every payment in accordance with Vietnamese law. If you need company details on the invoice, contact support@wedify.art.

General

What is Wedify?

Wedify is a photo sharing and proofing platform for wedding photographers and studios. You send the album to clients as a link, they pick and comment right on each photo, and you deliver the final edits through that same link. Beyond albums, Wedify also helps you manage your studio’s projects, clients, contracts and payments.

Which devices does Wedify work on?

Wedify runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone, with nothing to install. You can manage albums on your studio computer while clients usually view and pick photos on their phones.

Which languages are supported?

Wedify is available in Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. You and your clients each choose your own language, so a studio working in one language can still send albums naturally to clients abroad.

Which notifications will I get?

You get an in-app notification whenever a client comments or draws a note on a photo. Clicking it opens the exact photo and note, so you never have to search the album for it.

Using Wedify

How do I sort photos in an album?

Sort by file name, capture time, upload time, file size or dimensions, in ascending or descending order. Capture time usually works best for wedding albums, because the photos follow the day as it happened.

Which layouts are available?

Choose one of three layouts: grid for quick review, masonry to keep each photo’s proportions, or list for details. You can also show or hide file names under each photo, for example showing them when clients need to refer to file numbers and hiding them for a cleaner look.

How do I change the album cover and header image?

Set any photo as the album cover, or click Edit Header Image to choose the image shown at the top of the album. The header image is the first thing clients see, so pick a beautiful, emotional shot.

What if I delete a photo by mistake?

Don’t worry. Deleted photos go to the album’s trash and can be restored within 14 days. Only after that are they removed permanently to free up storage.

How do I filter photos by my client’s choices?

Use the filters in the sidebar to show photos by color flag, hearts or comments. If you know the file number, search by file name to go straight to that photo. Filters let you see the client’s whole selection or read all of their feedback in one pass.

Account & password

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click Forgot password on the sign-in page, enter your email address and follow the instructions in the reset email. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.

Can I sign in without a password?

Yes. Request a sign-in link by email and sign in with a single click, without remembering a password. This is handy when you sign in on a new device.

Can I belong to more than one studio?

Yes. If you are invited to several studios, switch between them right in the app with the same account. This is useful for photographers who work with more than one studio.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@wedify.art to ask for your account to be deleted. Before that, download any photos and data you want to keep, because they cannot be recovered once the account is deleted.

Tips & tricks

Can I rename many photos at once?

Yes. Select the photos you want to rename and use bulk rename. It helps you apply your studio’s naming convention, which makes matching them with the originals and talking to clients easier.

How do I move or copy photos to another album?

Select the photos, open the actions menu and choose move or copy to the album you want. Nothing is uploaded again, so it happens almost instantly. It is handy for splitting family or engagement photos into their own album.

What is the overview sheet?

The overview sheet shows every photo in the album as thumbnails on one page, so you and your client can take in the whole shoot. You can print it or save it as a PDF for review. Turn it on in the album settings.

Can I view photos full screen?

Yes. In the photo viewer, click the full-screen button to hide every tool and leave only the photo; move the mouse to bring the tools back. Use the arrow keys to move between photos, which is great for viewing photos with clients at the studio.

Advanced features

How does version history work?

When you upload a new edit over a photo, clients see it right away while earlier versions are kept (up to 10). You can view and restore any of them in one step. Client comments and notes stay attached to the photo, so you never lose the context of earlier edits.

What are collections?

Collections split the photos in an album into parts such as Ceremony, Reception or Portraits. You and your clients can filter the album by collection, and a dedicated Collections page shows every set in your studio in one place.

Can I group photos by color flag or file type?

Yes. In the arrangement options, group photos by color flag or file type so matching photos appear together. Grouping by flag shows at a glance how many photos the client has approved and how many are still undecided.

Guide for your clients

How do I flag a photo?

Hover over a photo (or tap it on your phone), click the flag icon and choose Yes, Maybe or No. You can change a flag at any time before your photographer starts editing.

What are hearts for?

Use hearts to mark the photos you especially love. Your photographer sees them right away and often uses them as a guide when choosing the cover or large prints.

How do I draw a note on a photo?

Open the photo, click Scribble and pick a stroke (free drawing, rectangle, square, oval or circle) and a color. Circle what needs changing, write a short note and click Comment to save. Your photographer will see exactly where you marked.

Can I view the album on my phone?

Yes. Albums are designed to work well on phones: swipe between photos, pinch to zoom and draw notes with one finger. There is no app to install; just open the link in your browser.

Your clients

What can clients do in an album?

Depending on your settings, clients can heart photos, flag them Yes, Maybe or No, comment, draw notes directly on photos and upload reference images. You turn each tool on or off per album, so clients only see what they need.

Do clients need to install an app?

No. Clients view the album in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone, without installing an app or creating an account. Even people who rarely use technology can view the photos easily.

Can clients send me photos?

Yes, when you allow client uploads in the album settings. Clients usually use it to send reference images for color, posing or album materials, and everything stays in the same album.

How long does an album stay online?

An album stays available until you set an expiry date, make it private or delete it. You decide exactly how long clients can view the photos.

Presentation mode

What is presentation mode?

Presentation mode is a way to deliver the finished album: large photos in a clean layout, with no feedback tools. It is ideal once clients have finished picking and you want to hand over the set like a carefully prepared gift.

Where do I turn on presentation mode?

In the album settings, choose presentation mode as the default mode clients see when they open the link. You can switch back to collaboration mode at any time if you need more feedback.

When should I use presentation mode?

Use presentation mode once clients have finished picking and you are delivering the final set, or whenever you simply want to showcase photos without feedback, such as an album for parents and relatives.

Comments & scribbles

How do color flags work?

Clients flag each photo Yes, Maybe or No. Filter the album by flag to see their selection right away, or group photos by flag to see how many are in each group.

What is the difference between hearts and flags?

Hearts show which photos a client loves, while flags record their actual selection, such as which photos to edit or print in the album. You can filter by both for the full picture.

Do scribbles stay in place when zooming?

Yes. Notes are stored by their position on the photo, so they stay in place at every zoom level and on every screen size. A note drawn on a phone appears in exactly the same spot when you open it on a computer.

Can comments be edited or deleted?

Authors can edit their own comments (they are marked as edited) or delete them. That way, everyone knows which comments were changed after posting.

Do new comments appear right away?

Yes. Comments appear in real time for everyone viewing the album, without reloading. When you and your client look at the album together, the conversation feels as natural as sitting side by side.

Lightroom & export

How do I get the list of photos my client picked?

Use Export selection to create a list of file names for the photos your client picked. Paste it into your app to filter exactly those photos in seconds and start editing right away.

Which apps does Export selection support?

Export selection supports Lightroom Classic, Capture One, Photo Mesh, Finder (macOS) and File Explorer (Windows). The list is formatted for each app, so you simply copy and paste.

Do I need to install a plugin?

No. Just copy the list of file names and paste it into your app. There is no plugin to install and nothing to configure.

Security & privacy

How do I protect an album with a password?

In the album settings, open the Security tab and turn on the password. Type your own or use the secure password generator, then send the password to your client along with the link.

How does the expiry date work?

After the expiry date, the share link and the album’s photos stop opening. Your studio can still see and manage the album as usual, and you can extend the date if the client needs to view it again.

What does private mean?

A private album can only be seen by members of your studio, and its share link no longer opens. It is a good choice while an album is being prepared or once delivery is complete.

What if I sent the link to the wrong person?

Change the password or the link, and previous guest sessions stop working. You can also click Sign out all guests in the Security tab to make everyone viewing sign in again with the new details.

Where is my data stored?

Photos and data are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the Singapore region. AWS is cloud infrastructure trusted by many large businesses, which keeps your albums reliable and secure.

Troubleshooting

My client can’t open the album.

Check whether the album is private, past its expiry date, or whether the client entered the wrong password. If you just changed the link or password, send the new details to the client. You can also click Preview to check the album the way the client sees it.

I didn’t receive the password reset or sign-in email.

Check the spam or promotions folder of your inbox. If it still isn’t there after a few minutes, contact support@wedify.art for help.

Uploads are slow or keep stopping.

Upload speed depends on your internet connection. Keep the page open until the upload finishes, and retry any photos that failed. If possible, use a wired connection or stable Wi-Fi when uploading a whole shoot.

I replaced a photo but my client still sees the old one.

Ask your client to reload the page. The new version shows as soon as the upload has finished; the client’s browser may still be showing the old version it loaded earlier.

Team members

Can my whole studio use it?

Yes. Invite members as manager, photographer, makeup artist or accountant. Everyone has their own account and sees only their own work, so the whole studio can work in Wedify with clear responsibilities.

How do I invite team members?

Go to Members in your studio settings and send an invitation by email. The person invited creates their account straight from the invitation and joins your studio.

How do the roles differ?

Each role sees only its own work. For example, photographers and makeup artists don’t see financial information such as contract prices or payments, while managers see everything.

Does each member need their own account?

Yes. Every member signs in with their own account, so you know who did what and can remove access when someone leaves the studio.

Studio management

What else can I manage in Wedify?

Beyond albums, you can manage projects, clients, appointments, contracts, payment schedules and team tasks in one place. Everything about a wedding is connected, which keeps your studio organized.

Does Wedify support contracts?

Yes. Create contracts from templates and attach them to a client’s project. Contracts sit alongside the album and client details, so they are easy to find when you need them.

How do I track client payments?

Split a contract into payment installments, such as a deposit, a payment before the wedding and a final payment on delivery, then record each payment as the client pays. You always know how much is still outstanding.
