Key takeaways
- Create an album, upload photos and split them into collections.
- Choose which tools clients can use and set up security.
- Preview, then send the link to your client.
- Follow feedback and export the picks to your editing software.
1. Create an album and upload
Go to Galleries, create a new album and give it a recognizable name. Drag photos or a whole folder into it; large files upload in parts and previews are created automatically.
2. Split into collections
Create collections such as Getting ready, Ceremony and Reception and add photos to each. Clients will browse and pick part by part.
3. Choose client tools
In the album settings, turn each tool on or off:
- Color flags (Yes, Maybe, No).
- Comments.
- Scribbles on photos (requires comments).
- Client uploads.
4. Secure the album
In the Security tab, set a password and an expiry date if needed. You can also make the album private or sign out all guests at any time.
5. Preview and share
Click Preview to see the album exactly as your client will. When it looks right, copy the share link and send it through the channel you usually use.
6. Follow feedback
When clients comment or draw notes, you get an in-app notification. Click it to open the exact photo and reply right away.
7. Export picks and deliver
Once clients have picked, filter by color flag and use Export selection to get file names for Lightroom or Capture One. After editing, upload the new versions to the same album and deliver through the same link.
Summary
In seven steps your first album is ready. The next ones will be even faster once the workflow is familiar.
